The current figure, $9.815 trillion, is simply just obscene. That's our national credit limit. It was just raised recently by the Senate Finance Committee because apparently our current federal debt of $8.923 trillion was getting pretty close to having the nation's credit card maxed out. It's up $850 billion, which is the thrid largest increase in history. Reuters caps off the article<\/a> by reminding us that when the current adminstration<\/em> took office the debt was $5.6 trillion, which of course is bad enough, for most of us anyway.<\/p>\n One can only imagine what these guys' checkbooks look like. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to decide when you wanted a credit increase for cash you have no intention of repaying?<\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" We have numbers.
