This is the title of the Jan. 2015 (Vol. 44 No. 1) issue of Hillsdale College’s Imprimis. In it Wall Street Journal Editorial Board Member, Jason L. Riley, delivers a hugely compelling argument everyone in the U.S. should read.
He not only addresses the current state of unfounded claims of racism toward the white community in general, but also the more dangerous trend of racist claims towards law enforcement simply doing their job.
As others (Mark Levin for one) have addressed, Mr. Riley discusses how the ‘real’ statistics that show the numbers of blacks committing the crimes, especially against other blacks, is astonishingly high. Yet the liberal leadership and press are constantly poised to label anyone approaching this truth as a bigot.
He states “Homicide is the leading cause of death for young black men in the U.S., and around 90 percent of the perpetrators are also black.” Also “Around 98 percent of black shooting deaths do not involve police. In fact, a cop is six times more likely to be shot by someone black than the opposite.”
This is the message that needs to be heard! Reading this had me pumping my fists in the air and shouting “YES!”. I could pull dozens of more quotes from this article but I would end up quoting the entire thing. Seriously, you MUST read this, and share it with everyone you know.
